Netflix Drops Trailer and Images for ‘Arlo the Alligator Boy’ Animated Musical

Coming to Netflix April 16, the 80-minute 2D film launches Arlo’s journey that lands him in New York City; soundtrack gets Capitol Records release the same day; ‘I Heart Arlo’ animated series will continue his adventures as he and his newfound crew setup shop and bring a neighborhood back to life.

Netflix’s new 80-minute 2D animated musical movie, Arlo the Alligator Boy, premiering April 16, will launch Arlo’s journey as he meets a group of misfits who quickly become his new family. Once Arlo’s adventure lands him in New York City, the series, I Heart Arlo, will kick off as he and his newfound crew set up shop in an abandoned seaside neighborhood and help bring it back to life.

The animated musical features the voice talents of American Idol finalist Michael J Woodard as Arlo; Mary Lambert as Bertie; Jonathan Van Ness as Furlecia; Tony Hale as Teeny Tiny Tony; Brett Gelman as Marcellus; and Haley Tju as Alia (Haley Tju).

Also, on April 16, Capitol Records will release Arlo the Alligator Boy Music from The Netflix Film. The songs are written by Ryan Crego and Alex Geringas; their single, “Follow Me Home,” is available now globally. Listen here.
