Expansive slate includes 50 new and returning series; ‘Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These’ Season 3 and ‘Estab Life: Great Escape’ now available, with new titles dropping throughout April.
Crunchyroll has announced the platform’s Spring 2022 lineup, its largest programming slate to date, which includes 50 new and returning titles.
New simulcasts from Japan, subtitled and dubbed, will include SPY x FAMILY, The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -Ultra Romantic-, Skeleton Knight in Another World, Date A Live IV, The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody, Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie, and The Dawn of the Witch.
Simulcasts on Crunchyroll continuing from the Winter 2022 anime season include One Piece, Cue!, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai, Digimon Ghost Game, Case Closed (Detective Conan), and Requiem of the Rose King.
The new season has already kicked off with Season 3 of Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These and the first two episodes of Estab Life: Great Escape which are airing ahead of Japan’s TV broadcast.
The spring anime slate will complement the streamer’s existing library of more than 40,000 episodes and 16,000 hours of viewing. Funimation’s catalog of titles continues to transition to the Crunchyroll platform with new episodes of current series being added.
