NASA Astronaut Scott Kelly, guest star on the upcoming Disney Original Movie Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation, recently took to Instagram to share the film’s new trailer. The action-packed trailer previews the adventures of the Green family as they embark on a “road trip” in outer space:
The animated comedy series, which debuted in 2018, follows mischievous and optimistic 10-year-old Cricket Green, who moves from the country to the big city with his wildly out-of-place family - older sister Tilly, father Bill, and Gramma Alice - after the family loses their Smalton country farm. Cricket’s natural curiosity and enthusiasm lead him and his family on epic journeys and into the hearts of his new neighbors.
The Big City Greens series cast includes Chris Houghton as Cricket Green, Marieve Herington as Tilly Green, Bob Joles as Bill Green, Artemis Pebdani as Gramma Alice, Wendi McLendon-Covey as Nancy Green, Zeno Robinson as Remy, and Anna Akana as Gloria. Guest starring in the upcoming film are Renée Elise Goldsberry as Colleen Voyd, Cheri Oteri as Gwendolyn Zapp, Astronaut Kelly as himself, Joe Lo Truglio as BigTech Scientist, Jack McBrayer as Farmbot, and Raven-Symoné Maria Media.
From Disney Branded Television and produced by Disney Television Animation, the film is created and executive produced by Chris and Shane Houghton and produced by Michael Coughlin. Anna O’Brian directs while Joachim Horsley acts as series composer.
