HIT Ent. Unveils New Development Slate

HIT Ent. today unveiled its new development slate.

The first property from HIT Ent. is MIKE THE KNIGHT, by LUNAR JIM creator Alexander Bar. Produced in CG animation, the 52 x 10 series centers around 10-year old Mike, whose mission to "Be a Knight, do it right" sees him set out to protect his kingdom and make Mum proud. Dragons, magic and humor form the backbone of this pre-school series, which has an emphasis on wanting to do the very best that you can.

Aqua Teen Goes Live-Action

AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE creators Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis have developed the first-ever live-action episode of the series. Grammy-winning southern rapper T-Pain will portray Frylock, voice over actor Jon Benjamin will play Master Shake, Dave Long Jr. will make his TV debut as the Aqua Teen's obnoxious neighbor Carl. Meatwad will be played by an exercise ball.

The new season of AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE will conclude with this live-action episode on Sunday, May 31 at 11:45 p.m. (ET/PT).

Sit Down Stands Up and Moves

With only two episodes aired, Fox has moved the animated sitcom SIT DOWN, SHUT UP to the 7:00 pm slot on Sundays, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Previously, the new series followed THE SIMPSONS at 8:30, which will now be filled with the last few episodes of KING OF THE HILL. Reruns of AMERICAN DAD will fill the space between SIT DOWN, created by Mitch Hurwitz, and THE SIMPSONS.
