Podcast EP 245: Exit 73 Studios Indie Game Dev Journey With #Blud

This episode features animation studio Exit 73’s co-founders, Chris Burns and Bob Fox. The duo’s projects include work for TV, commercials, websites, video games, and, more recently, their in-production game called #Blud, set to release later this year. In this chat, Burns and Fox share their indie game dev journey (started with no prior gaming experience), including finding a producer and making a strategic decision to share work in process on social media.

Tune in to Ibele, Burns, and Fox to hear:

  • What size team is needed to produce something of #Blud’s caliber?
  • How difficult is it to enter the gaming industry without any experience?
  • Why #Blud looks like a TV show rather than a typical game (and why that’s an advantage)?

Ibele has begun to publish the interviews as videos as well – you can find previous interviews here!
