Blumhouse Drops Official Trailer for ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’

The terrifying horror game phenomenon becomes a blood-chilling cinematic event, as the studio behind ‘M3GAN’ and ‘The Invisible Man’ shares a look at the creepy franchise hitting the big screen and Peacock October 27.

Let the nightmare begin! The terrifying horror game phenomenon becomes a blood-chilling cinematic event, as Blumhouse - the producer of M3GANThe Black Phone and The Invisible Man - brings Five Nights at Freddy’s to the big screen.  

The live-action adaptation follows a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be a walk in the park.

Freddy’s stars Josh Hutcherson (UltramanThe Hunger Games franchise); Elizabeth Lail (YouMack & Rita); Piper Rubio (Holly & IvyUnstable); and Kat Conner Sterling (We Have a Ghost9-1-1); with Mary Stuart Masterson (BlindspotFried Green Tomatoes) and Matthew Lillard (Good GirlsScream). 

The film is directed by Emma Tammi (The WindBlood Moon), and penned by Scott Cawthon, Tammi and Seth Cuddeback. The film’s iconic animatronic characters are created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, with VFX by Scanable and Trixter’s Curtis Edwards acting as CG Supervisor.

Jason Blum and Cawthon produce alongside Bea Sequeira, Russell Binder and Christopher H. Warner. Universal Pictures presents the Blumhouse production, in association with Striker Entertainment.

Five Nights at Freddy’s creeps into theaters and streams on Peacock October 27.
