I.E. Effects To Provide VFX To Little Hercules 3D

Full service visual effects studio I.E. Effects will provide visual effects and stereoscopic 3-D compositing for the upcoming feature film, LITTLE HERCULES 3D.

Judd Nelson, John Heard, Elliot Gould and Hulk Hogan join 10-year-old body builder Richard Sandrak to star in the family film about a young boy of immeasurable strength who travels from Mt. Olympus to live in Los Angeles.

"We...look forward to providing what will be the first 3-D experience to many of the film's younger moviegoers," says I.E. Exec Producer and Co-Founder David Kenneth.

More than ten 3-D feature films will be released in 2009, and upwards of 12,500 theaters in the U.S. alone are being outfitted with 3-D playback systems in the next year. Speaking on the rise in popularity of 3-D of late, Kenneth added, "The film business has been using 3-D as early as the 1890s, but now technology allows us to create and showcase 3-D films more effectively than ever before."

I.E. Effects is known for its strong ability to facilitate any visual effects project, big or small, from pre-to-post production, as evidenced in its regular work on The History Channel's hit series CITIES OF THE UNDERWORLD and MODERN MARVELS and recent projects such as a Motorola advertising campaign featuring David Beckham, which is being preloaded on more than ten million mobile phones around the world.

Founded by Producer/Director David Kenneth and Visual Effects Supervisor Malcolm Sim, I.E. Effects works in all aspects of production and post production for feature films, television, music videos and commercials.

In addition to an extensive background in stereoscopic 3-D production and post production, the company also provides production services for location-based entertainment such as theme park rides and special venues as well as editorial services including fully equipped HD, 3D and 4K edit suites. Clients have included Motorola, DreamWorks, Walt Disney, Paramount Pictures, Sony Image Works, NBC, Sci-Fi Channel, AT&T and Taco Bell.
