ComingSoon reports that Bruce Boxleitner is returning for Disney's upcoming TR2N, joining fellow cast member Jeff Bridges and newcomers Olivia Wilde and Beau Garrett. In the original 1982 film, hacker Kevin Flynn (Bridges) gets trapped into the graphical world of his computer, joining forces with Tron (Boxleitner) to outsmart the software pirate that holds them captive.
Details are still being kept quiet, but the film is at this point set to act as a "next chapter." Wilde will play a worker in the virtual world who helps fight the evil Master Control Program and Garrett will portray a siren in the digital world.
TR2N will be shot in 3-D and is currently set for a 2010 release date from director Joseph Kosinski.
