Superprod Group Names Charles Vaucelle Creative Director

‘Pat the Dog’ and ‘Dogmatix and the Indomitables’ director bolsters Superprod Animation’s growing creative team.

Superprod Group has welcomed Charles Vaucelle into their ranks as creative director. This key addition comes on the heels of the company’s recent rapid growth which includes the founding of a new Art Development department.

After completing his studies at the European School of Image in Angoulême, Vaucelle joined Xilam, where he worked on productions such as Space Goof, Lucky Luke, and The Daltons. In 2015 he was tapped by Superprod to direct Season 1 of Pat the Dog, which sold in over 180 countries. Subsequently, he went on to direct the first animated TV series for Hatchett, based on the iconic comic property “Asterix,” Dogmatix and the Indomitables, for France Televisions, M6, Super RTL, and Cartoon Network.

Led by Patrick Ermosilla, Superprod Animation's growing creative team is dedicated to the development of animation programs for the international market. It is currently in production on seven series with a range of projects, both series and feature films, for major broadcasters and platforms worldwide.
