Famed Hollywood producer Robert Evans, along with Avi Haas and Henri M. Kessler, will produce a feature film based on UFO, a British TV series from 1970s, reports VARIETY. Ryan Gaudet and Joseph Kanarek will write the screenplay.
Created by Gerry Anderson, set in 1980, the story followed a secret military unit that attempts to stop aliens from abducting and murdering humans for their body parts. The film version will take place in 2020.ITV Global will fund the project, which will be first shopped to Paramount, where Evans has a first look deal set up.
