New ‘Scooby-Doo’ DVD Available May 13

Scooby-Doo! 13 Spooky Tales: Field of Screams heads to DVD May 13, featuring 13 sports-related episodes.

Spooky mysteries in the world’s most celebrated sports are the focus of Scooby-Doo! 13 Spooky Tales: Field of Screams, an exciting collection of new and classic Scooby-Doo! cartoons, set for release May 13, 2014 from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE). This entertaining release will showcase 13 action-packed, sports-related escapades featuring Scooby-Doo! and his mystery-solving pals, including a brand-new 22-minute adventure, “Scooby-Doo! Ghastly Goals!” The set is comprised of two discs and features over four hours of Scooby-Doo! content! 

Scooby-Doo and the gang are together again in this high-scoring collection that’s comprised of fan-favorite sports-themed episodes which are offered together for the first time in one set.  The Mystery Inc. gang may be champions when it comes to solving mysteries, but how do they fare when playing sports? Competition is ghoulish and their opponents are monsters…literally! But that won’t deter our favorite animated crime-fighters from giving it all they’ve got on Scooby-Doo! 13 Spooky Tales: Field of Screams.

Featured in this release is an all-new, 22-minute cartoon titled “Scooby-Doo! Ghastly Goals!” Get set for hijinks and excitement in this captivating adventure that features Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma as they go on vacation and plan to take in a game of soccer. At the event however, everyone panics when a mythical beast appears and threatens to end the game! Scooby’s goal is to canine-kick his way to victory, but is he up to the challenge?

Scooby fans will suit up for an additional 12 entertaining mysteries featuring the beloved Great Dane and his tried-and-true teammates. Whether it’s baseball, football or tennis, spectators will watch the gang tackle demons, ghouls, monsters and more! It’s a winning collection that’s perfect for the whole family!
