New Int’l Sales Announced for Hoho’s ‘Everybody Loves a Moose’

Animated children’s comedy series commissioned by RAI in Italy headed to Ireland, Portugal, Angola and Mozambique.

LONDON -- Hoho Rights, the commercial arm of kids’ production company Hoho Entertainment, has announced new international TV sales for its anarchic, animated comedy Everybody Loves a Moose. The 52x7’ series will air on TG4 in Ireland, Sic K in Portugal and Portuguese language channel DSTV in Angola and Mozambique.

Aimed at 6-11-year-olds, Everybody Loves a Moose features the adventures of a young boy Jack and his impulsive expert-in-everything friend Moose. The series, commissioned by RAI in Italy, recently made a successful debut on the public service broadcast channel where the ratings significantly outperformed the slot average.

“As these latest sales and viewing figures show, it would appear that that everybody does indeed love a moose,” said Helen Howells joint MD of Hoho Rights. “We are delighted that this distinctive property continues to grow and resonate with buyers and audiences all around the world.”

Riccardo Trigona, producer and CEO of Trion Pictures added, “I am absolutely delighted with the show’s recent performance on Rai-Gulp and it’s great to see Moose showing a similar pattern of success to the airing on Gloob in Brazil.”
