Lost Creators Talk About Series End

With the series returning from hiatus on Feb. 7, 2007, the makers of LOST have begun talks with ABC about when the series will end, reports THE ASSOCIATED PRESS. This doesn't mean the series is coming to a close soon. The discussion is part of an effort to help the series writers lead the show toward a fixed ending in the future.

"Once we figure out when that will be, a lot of the questions will go away," said exec producer Carlton Cuse.

Using FOX's THE X-FILES as an example, Cuse commented that they don't want LOST to be dragged out longer than it should. "That was a great show [X-FILES] that probably ran two seasons too long. That is a cautionary tale for us."
