Registration for summer courses at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects has begun. New courses for this term include:
--Game Design and ScriptingHarness the Unreal editor's visual scripting language, Kismet and Matinee Editor to produce richly interactive environments.
--Imaginative LandcapesInvent rich, new worlds from the imagination for use in finished concept art.
--Animation for GamesLearn to create animation assets for games with Autodesk Maya.
--Studio Matte TechniquesExamine techniques and software used in creating, extracting and prepping 2d digital mattes.
--Pipeline Design and ManagementLearn the intricacies of working in a detailed production pipeline.
--Color Theory and ManagementUntangle the complicated relationship of color in digital production.
--PhotographyLearn a comprehensive approach to digital photography and how photographic techniques and applications relate to the 3D production workflow.

Gnomon has been awarded a contract with the State of California Employment Training Panel (ETP) to offer subsidized training for eligible California companies.
