Hello world. I'm a recent grad, and thus, Mike needs a job. This is shameless self promotion towards that end. Also, I recently entered the www.10secondclub.net (entry 40, 2595) contest that maybe some of you know, feel welcome to vote like crazy for that. If you don't like what you see on the reel, check back later, I have a day job that I find emotionally crippeling, and animating is really the only thing that can actually take my mind off it, so i update once every week, two weeks, something like that.
Note: my reel is SUPER SHORT (under 2 mins!!) and AWSOME so you might as well watch!

The stills are interesting. I'd watch but for some reason my IE doesn't do well with videos. It's hit or miss. I'll keep trying though.
Mike, that's a nice demo reel and senior project. Did you do the modeling or the animation or both?
About the only thing I can see you getting hammered about is the jacket on the boy in the senior project and your demo reel. It doesn't move, especially not the hood.
It's a good showcase of talent though so I don't think you'll get too much flack for details like that.
From an employer point of view, I'd say you give enough detail to show your abilities. Looks good overall.
Good luck finding a job, consider joining an online project to further define your skills and have a little more polished work to add to the demo reel.
