The EPX Stories competition invites filmmakers from near and far to produce finished short movies in just a few weeks. Whether novice or expert we invite you to recruit a team and join the fun. EPX Stories is calling for filmmakers and wanna-be filmmakers to jump in and help us celebrate our neighborhood. Your short film should highlight the East Passyunk Crossing neighborhood; its history and its history-in –the-making, its landmarks and its new hot spots, its people and its happenings. The deadline is tight enough to encourage speed and focus but generous enough to allow for thoughtful storytelling and creative approaches. The goal is to gather stories that shine a spotlight on all that’s wonderful about this neighborhood and its people. With that in mind, we want to be sure the films are appropriate for both the young and the young at heart – submitted projects must be all ages appropriate. Selected films will be screened for an appreciative and discerning audience. Those films and others will also be featured on our website.
