Light House Media Centre, Wolverhampton hosts the Flip Animation Festival, the regions only animation festival. Flip celebrates animation in all its guises with showcases of work, industry talks and events, workshops and film screenings and aims to raise the profile of animation in the Midlands.
Running over three days at Light House and other venues across Wolverhampton and Birmingham, one of the highlights of Flip will be a special screening of a selection of work produced by animators from the West Midlands. For this screening, Light House is calling for high quality animated work in any genre, style or technique; including film, music video, computer games, mobile phone animation, web animation or animation for television or the Internet.
