Thumb Wrestling Federation Faces Off On Cartoon Network Nov. 3

Hit action-comedy series THUMB WRESTLING FEDERATION: TWF takes the stage this week on Cartoon Network. Starting on November 3, interstitial matches will appear weekdays, during Cartoon Network's original programming from 3 to 5 p.m. and recap in a weekly 22-minute "TWF Rewind" episode to air on Saturday mornings.

A hit on the BBC in England, TWF topped the ratings charts as the most watched children's program in the UK according to a recent issue of Broadcast Magazine. Now kids in the U.S. can join the fun with this one-of-a-kind fictional sports league featuring larger than life wrestling personalities, thumb on thumb contact, and two wacky commentators. TWF brings to life the battle between the Mighty Dexteras and the evil Sinistras, a classic good versus evil showdown.

In addition to hilarious, action-packed bouts of thumb wrestling between truly zany contestants, the series also includes one-minute wrestler bios and 45-second gags revolving around the show's 56 original characters. Fans can also experience the action online with exclusive matches and TWF features like the "Mask Maker" game which allows players to customize their own wrestling mask at: http://thumbwrestlingfederation.com.

"Though we've had a lot of sprained thumbs, we have a ton of fun making this show," said Larry Schwarz, CEO of Animation Collective and creator of THUMB WRESTLING FEDERATION: TWF. "It is all about terrific comic characters in awesomely hilarious situations. We are so excited to unleash TWF's crazy action on Cartoon Network's audience."
