Stitch Has Glitch in New DVD Sequel

For those who were disappointed by the STITCH! THE MOVIE DVD sequel (the precursor to the TV series), youll probably find LILO & STICH 2: STITCH HAS A GLITCH (Buena Vista Home Ent., $29.99) closer to the original Disney animated feature. Animated at the recently shuttered Walt Disney Animation Studios in Sydney, Australia, LILO & STITCH 2 streets Aug. 30, 2005. The Australian team, guided by unit director Kelly Baigent and unit producer Kara Lord Piersimoni, strove for lush watercolor backgrounds and stylized imagery, which characterized the Chris Sanders feature. Anthony Leondis and Michael LaBash serve as co-directors.

Stitch has prophetic nightmares about his unruly behavior and starts behaving badly, uncontrollably, which threatens his friendship with Lilo. This sequel is actually much darker than you might expect. The new DVD features the very hot Dakota Fanning (WAR OF THE WORLDS) as Lilo along with returning voice talents Chris Sanders (Stitch), Tia Carrere (Nani), David Ogden Stiers (Dr. Jumba), Kevin McDonald (Agent Pleakley) and Jason Scott Lee (David).

Bonus features include:

* Animated Short: THE ORIGIN OF STITCH* "Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride" music video by Jump 5* Where's Pleakley? Set-Top Game* Jumbas Experiment Profiler
