Starz Kids & Family brings seasonal cheer to its viewers with its annual Holidays are Better with Starz Kids & Family campaign featuring a family-friendly collection of television premieres and programming that appeal to everyone, plus a family sweepstakes.
The season begins with the Thanksgiving Day marathon and later in the season will offer the commercial-free television premiere of THE HAPPY ELF and the full-length special ELOISE: LITTLE MISS CHRISTMAS. Starz will also have a marathon of holiday films airing on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and the New Years Day ELOISE marathon. The Cruisin with the Family Sweepstakes runs throughout the holiday season featuring a Disney Cruise Line vacation for ten for the winner.
The Thanksgiving Day marathon of family-friendly hits begins at 6:00 am on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006. Movies that will air during the marathon include THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, CHICKEN LITTLE, THE INCREDIBLES and more.
The ELOISE series continues with the full-length special ELOISE: LITTLE MISS CHRISTMAS premiering on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 3:15 pm. In this special, Eloise and her friends plan a holiday extravaganza at The Plaza.
THE HAPPY ELF will air on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 6:00 pm. Highlighted by Harry Connick, Jr. as the animated narrator, THE HAPPY ELF tells the story of Eubie the Elf, one of Santas helpers whose overly enthusiastic, rose-colored view of the holiday season is put to the test when he sets out to bring Christmas joy a dreary town called Bluesville.
Airing from 10:00 am on Christmas Eve until 6:00 pm on Christmas day, Starz will broadcast holiday films such as LITTLE MISS CHRISTMAS, THE HAPPY ELF, CHRISTMAS WITH THE KRANKS, MUST BE SANTA, ILL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS and more.
A New Years Day Starz will air an ELOISE marathon, featuring a series of full-length specials, beginning at 6:00 am on Monday, Jan. 1, 2007.
Additionally, an exclusive clip from MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE: MICKEY SAVES SANTA will also air throughout the holiday season on Starz Kids & Family.
The Cruisin with the Family Sweepstakes ends at 11:59:59 pm ET Monday, Jan. 1, 2007. The sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older as of the promotion period start date.
