Director Andrew Adamson, who partnered with Vicky Jenson to direct this years blockbuster animated film SHREK, has recently signed with the United Talent Agency and is hard at work on his next project for DreamWorks. Adamson will direct TRUCKERS, a feature film mixing live-action with animation and based on Terry Pratchetts young adult novel about alien creatures called nomes who live in a department store. Adamson will write the script with Joe Stillman, one of the authors of SHREK. Although Adamson has not yet signed on to direct the SHREK sequel as was recently reported in VARIETY, a DreamWorks representative said that he will be involved with the sequel, although his role has not yet been established. However, Adamsons SHREK directing partner Vicky Jenson will not be working on the sequel. She is slated to direct an upcoming DreamWorks CG project that has yet to be announced.
