San Diego Latino Film Fest Looks for Animation

The 14th annual festival is now accepting entries for the 2007 festival. The festival is seeking innovative works that are 'by,' 'about' or 'for' the Latino community, that have been produced between 2005-2007, as well as Spanish-language productions. This is a competitive festival with awards given to Best Animated Feature and Best Animated Short. The festival will include a special centerpiece showcase of international animation and U.S. Latino graphic artists. This showcase will continue through the entire eleven-day festival but the major focus of this sidebar will be presented mid-week during our festivals centerpiece programming on March 13-14, 2007. There will be an art exhibition, film screenings, press conference, workshop with panel of animators and graphic artists, and a special student presentation.
