Novel Signs Deal with EMI for Horrid Henry Record

Novel Ent. and record label EMI have signed an agreement that will see HORRID HENRY releasing his own record in time for Christmas.

The new album, featuring 18 tracks, will be available starting December 1, 2008. With the exception of the title song from the TV series -- "Nah Nah Ne Nah Nah" -- all the songs have been written especially for the album by Novel Ent.'s Lucinda Whiteley together with Lester Barnes, Lockdown Media's Matthew Corbett and Mike Wilkie and Philip Pope. A four-track single has already been release on iTunes in advance of the album launch.

A number of the songs are featured in Henry's touring stage show HORRID HENRY -- LIVE AND HORRID! which opens London's West End starting November 21 at the Trafalgar Studios. Michael Edwards and Carole Winter present the stage show, written by John Godber, in association with Novel Ent., Sheffield Theatres and Watershed Productions.

Novel is currently in production on a second season of the hit 2D animated show for CITV with delivery due in spring 2009. The music from Henry's album will feature strongly in the upcoming new series.
