Nickelodeon’s “Ha-Ha Holidays” to Spread Chuckles and Cheer

Nickelodeon is set to wrapped up laughs for the holidays with a primetime slate of Ha-Ha Holidays specials. Nicks airwaves will glow with an eerie-turned-cheery spirit when Danny Phantoms THE FRIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS premieres on Dec. 6 (8:30 p.m. ET/PT; encoring Dec. 17, 19 & 25). When Danny accidentally destroys the only copy of a ghostly Christmas story, the author, Ghost Writer (guest voice Brendan Fraser), casts him as the main character of a new Yuletide tale and pins the blame on him when a series of catastrophes threaten to ruin the season for all of Amity Park. Finding good in old ghostly foes, Danny enlists them to restore the spirit of Christmas to the town and to his own heart.

LAZYTOWNs Surprise Santa, premiering Friday, Dec. 9 (12:00 noon ET/PT) kicks off Nick Jr.s Frosty Fridays (12-2 pm ET/PT). When Robbie Rotten hears that the LazyTowners are planning a Christmas party, he assumes he isn't invited and aims to mar the merriment by shooting a snowball out of a cannon at the guests. Sportacus must save the day before the snowball crashes into the festivities.

Primetime weekday presents at 8:30 pm (ET/PT) include holiday favorites from hit series including SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS, THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS, RUGRATS, ALL GROWN UP, THE ADVENTURES OF JIMMY NEUTRON, BOY GENIUS and MY LIFE AS A TEENAGE ROBOT. In addition, back-to-back seasonal treasures from the likes of CATDOG, CHALKZONE, RUGRATS (Christmas and Chanukah), ROCKET POWER, THE WILD THORNBERRYS, HEY, ARNOLD! and AS TOLD BY GINGER (Christmas/Chanukah) are unwrapped in two of the merriest seven-hour Nicktoons marathons ever, Saturday, Dec. 17 (12-7:00 pm ET/PT) and Christmas Day, Dec. 25 (12-7:00 pm ET/PT). And RUGRATS heaps the basket with mazao and lights the menorah, too, celebrating Chanukah and Kwanzaa (respectively Dec. 17, 25 & 28; and Dec. 26).
