The 2006 DVD Exclusive Awards have announced. THE INCREDIBLES has been awarded the top prize of Overall DVD, New Movie. Pixar superhero epic also won for Behind-the-Scenes Program (new for DVD), Menu Design and New Movie Scenes (finished edited into movie or stand-alone).
The winners in 26 categories voted on by the DVD Exclusive Academy will be feted at an invitation-only cocktail party hosted by Video Business and the Digital Entertainment Group on April 5, 2006, at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in North Hollywood, California. Two special Creative Achievement Awards also will be presented that night, to prestige DVD label The Criterion Collection and animated franchise film producer Sharon Morrill, president of DisneyToon Studios.
