From a Galaxy Far, Far Away to Teletoon - The Clone Wars this Fall

Toronto -- The battle for galactic freedom is coming to TELETOON Canada this Fall when STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS launches its eagerly anticipated second season on the Canadian animation network. Beginning in September, season one of Lucasfilm Animation's cutting-edge, computer-generated series will air on the network, along with the 2008 STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS feature film. Season two will follow later in the year. STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS will also launch on the French language TELETOON network this Fall.

Fierce battles, expanded storylines, and elaborate animation raise the stakes higher than ever in the second season of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS. The lives of the Jedi become more complex as secret and forbidden relationships are revealed and a new breed of villain enters to take advantage of the wartime turmoil. Featuring state of the art animation, STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS follows Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Master Yoda and the heroes of the Galactic Republic as they struggle to defend against the evil Separatist forces led by Count Dooku and General Grievous. Set against the spectacular backdrop of the STAR WARS universe, the second season of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS is bigger, bolder and more intense than ever before.
