The first EcoArts Film Festival (EAFF) will showcase films from Northern Marianas and throughout the Pacific and Oceania promoting awareness of tropical, island environments. All films submitted will be screened in venues throughout downtown Garapan on Saipan from July 29 to July 31, 2005. In addition to film screenings, profiles of filmmakers and chronicles of the filmmaking process will be published in local newspapers prior to the festival. A panel discussion of local filmmakers will also be held during the film festival. A reception will also be held to honor all festival filmmakers and their submissions.
