Canada’s Family Unveils Fall Lineup

Family, Canada's leading tween network, has added eight new series to its lineup starting on August 23, 2004 including animated shows DISNEY'S DAVE THE BARBARIAN, FRANNY'S FEET and THE SECRET WORLD OF BENJAMIN BEAR.

DISNEY'S DAVE THE BARBARIAN premieres Aug. 23, 2004 and will air at 4:15 pm Monday through Friday. The series follows Dave the Barbarian's comedic adventures with his offbeat family, including his primping older sister Candy and his fierce younger sister Fang.

FRANNY'S FEET will premiere Aug. 23, 2004 and will air at 8:45 am Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The digital 2D series follows Franny as she goes on adventures with the help of some special shoes. The show is produced by Decode Ent. in partnership with Family.

THE SECRET WORLD OF BENJAMIN BEAR will debut on Aug. 24, 2004 and will air at 8:45 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This Canadian 2D animated series uncovers the secret world of teddy bears as the ever patient Benjamin Bear (voiced by Jonathan Crombie, ANNE OF GREEN GABLES) guides a rookie teddy bear through many adventures in their quest to bring happiness to kids. The series is produced by Amberwood Productions/Red Kite in partnership with Family.
