'Ben 10 Omniverse: Heroes Rise' Available July 9

Cartoon Network announces an all new DVD, “Ben 10 Omniverse: Heroes Rise,” available July 9.

Cartoon Network announced an all-new DVD release starring its international alien-fighting hero Ben Tennyson with the release of Ben 10 Omniverse: Heroes Rise. Available July 9, 2013, the two-disc DVD features 10 action-packed episodes from the series’ first season starring Ben, his arsenal of alien alter-egos, new partner Rook and a colorful underground world filled with intergalactic life. Also included in the set are “Alien Reveals” and “Alien Database” bonus features. Ben 10 Omniverse: Heroes Rise will be available on DVD with an order due date of June 4, 2013.

Ben 10 Omniverse is the latest television series in the global juggernaut Ben 10 franchise that debuted on Cartoon Network in 2005 and also includes Ben 10, Ben 10 Alien Force, and Ben 10 Ultimate Alien, as well as a series of television movies. The current series is produced by Cartoon Network Studios with Matt Youngberg (Transformers: Animated) serving as supervising producer, and is currently the top-rated Cartoon Network program on Saturday mornings with boys 6-11 and boys 9-14, according to recent Nielsen Media Research data. New episodes debut Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. (ET/PT), with replays throughout the week.

Ben 10 Omniverse: Heroes Rise joins a long list of home video releases for the franchise, which includes releases across all three previous Ben 10 series and movies, as well as Ben 10 Omniverse: A New Beginning, which was released earlier this year. Additionally, the global Ben 10 consumer products program continues to thrive at retail, led by robust toyline from Bandai, a series of interactive titles from D3Publisher and much more across the globe that have all combined to generate more than $3 billion in global retail sales to date.

Cartoon Network will support the DVD release of Ben 10 Omniverse: Heroes Rise DVD with targeted on-air spots on Cartoon Network and online spots on CartoonNetwork.com, as well as strong social media and publicity support.
