The Short Shorts Film Festival is Japans largest festival for short films. The Academy Award accredited festival takes place in nine cities and 13 venues including Yangon, Myanmar and across Japan; Tokyo, Sapporo, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Osaka, Hakodate, Nagoya and Matsumoto.
The event has no entry fee and every year flies a select group of filmmakers to the event. It includes panels, workshops, a film market, special guests and awards.
