Anchor Bay Canadas first new Manga release will be GHOST IN THE SHELL: THE STAND ALONE COMPLEX VOL. 7, July 26, and will be available in both standard editions and special editions. DVDs contain four half hour episodes encoded directly from high-definition masters, featuring surround sound, plus bonus extras. The special edition includes a two-disc set with a t-shirt in a limited edition tin. VOL. 7 concludes season one of the critically acclaimed anime TV series. Season 2, titled SAC 2nd GIG, will be available fall 2005. Based on the popular Japanese manga by Shirow Masamune, this high-tech sci-fi anime series continues on with new chapters of the futuristic tale first brought to life in the acclaimed anime feature film GHOST IN THE SHELL.
