2015 TAAFI Animation Job Fair to be Held May 2

Free annual animation recruitment event presented by the Toronto Animation Arts Festival International is targeted at connecting top studios with animation, visual effects and gaming job seekers from across Ontario.

TORONTO, Ontario -- The Toronto Animation Arts Festival International (TAAFI) has announced the 2015 TAAFI Animation Job Fair to be held on Saturday, May 2 at George Brown College - Waterfront Campus. This free animation recruitment event is targeted at connecting top studios with animation, visual effects and gaming job seekers from the Greater Toronto Area and across Ontario, in a turn-key, highly promoted event designed to make jobs happen.

The TAAFI Animation Job Fair will attract some of the best talent in the local industry, from Ontario’s ever growing talent pool of students, graduates and industry professionals from artists to executives. Event features include:

  • Exhibitors’ Concourse -More than 30 studio and recruiting booths awaiting job-seekers, allowing direct access to leading studios in animation, visual effects and gaming,
  • The Interview Zone - where recruiters meet one-on-one with potential candidates, set-up with 12 round tables, each with four chairs, and high-speed WiFi
  • The Presentation Zone - features inspirational and informative talks for attendees and recruiters

TAAFI invites job seekers to register today and get their portfolios ready, for 2015 TAAFI Animation Job Fair, Saturday, May 2 at George Brown College - Waterfront Campus, 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. “All of your hard work is about to pay off!” says co-director Ben McEvoy.  

Students and job seekers are invited to register to attend the Job Fair for free and a chance to win prizes at taafi.com/animationjobfair.

The Toronto Animation Arts Festival International, or TAAFI, is Toronto’s first and foremost international animation festival. Developed with a mandate to celebrate the many forms of animation from around the world, and to support and nurture the industry and community that creates these art forms. The next festival is set to run April 22-24, 2016.
