The Sacramento Film and Music Festival showcases more than 140 films along with 22 live music performances. Screenings will be both competition and non-competition, along with special screenings for locally produced material. For submission purposes, festival programmers will consider films submitted before completion (i.e., rough cuts, Avid outputs, temporary sound mixes, etc.). However, programmers will not consider trailers or other promotional videos for selection purposes. The three categories include features (more than 60 minutes), shorts and Sacramento Produced projects. There will be a discounted entry fee offered to films submitted early (must be postmarked by April 20th, 2004). This discounted rate includes $20 per entry for films under 60 minutes (shorts); $30 per entry for films 60 minutes and over (features). Submissions received between April 21st - June 21st, 2004 will be $25 for shorts and $35 for features.
