Sphere VFX has released FUSION 5.1 IN-DEPTH 3D. This four-hour DVD release covers all aspects of Fusion's 3D system and is designed for compositors already familiar with eyeon's Fusion.
The DVD deals with all the 3D tools including an Introduction to 3D, the use of primitives, importing geometry from 3D applications such as Maya or 3ds Max, adding baked animation data to imported geometry, deforming geometry, adding textures to 3D geometry, working with Camera in Fusion, adding baked animation data to Camera's, understanding and working with Projectors in Fusion, working with Lights, Miscellaneous Nodes and a complete understanding of the 3D renderer. Also included on the DVD are two bonus lessons, including the breakdown of a project created specifically for eyeon and also a lesson on preparing data inside Maya and 3ds max for importing into Fusion. The DVD not only contains all lessons but also project files and other useful compositing documentation.
