Special Benefit Screening Of Spirited Away At Pixar

Pixar Animation is opening its doors for a worthy cause. The studio, which is normally not open to the public, is hosting a gala preview of the English-dubbed version of Hayao Miyazaki's SPIRITED AWAY, featuring special guests Miyazaki, Pixar director John Lasseter and actor John Ratzenberger, to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. On Sunday, September 15, 2002, guests can enjoy an exclusive opportunity to spend an afternoon at Pixar Animation Studios, view a special preview of the film and meet the special guests during a cocktail reception and silent auction. Cost to attend the event ranges from $200 to $1,000. All proceeds of the event benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). JDRF, the world's leading nonprofit, non-governmental funder of diabetes research, was founded in 1970 by the parents of children with juvenile diabetes. Since its inception, JDRF has provided more than $600 million to diabetes research worldwide. If you are interested in attending this special event, please contact Amy Gardinier at 415-977-0360 or agardinier@jdrf.org. For more information, visit the JDRF Website at www.jdrf.org.
