"Fest Anca" is an international animated film festival based in Zilina, Slovakia, festivals main spot is situated in a train station which was turned into modern culture center (www.stanica.sk). Its purpose is to show contemporary, progressive animated films to commemorate the best of the genre's history. The long-term vision is to approximate well-known international festivals, filling an empty space in this field of art in Slovakia. An international competition for best animated film and best animated music video - to be selected by an expert panel - is a part of the festival. Accompanying events include workshops, exhibitions and chats with filmmakers and producers. The summertime festival atmosphere is supported by a camping city, nighttime screenings and live concerts. This year´s edition - 27.6. - 30.6. 2012.

From September 18th to 22nd, the nation's capital will once again become the center of the animation universe. The Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) is the largest event of its kind in North America, a major film event attracting attendees from around the world. Film buffs, art lovers and cartoon fans won't want to miss this year's great line up of screenings.Du 18 au 22 septembre, la capitale du pays deviendra le centre de l’univers de l’animation. Le Festival International de l’Animation d’Ottawa est un évènement prestigieux qui attire des spectateurs de partout dans le monde. ANIMA2013 will take place in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, from October 10th through 12th, 2013. This seventh edition of Argentina's most relevant animation festival will be dedicated to exploring the relationship between animation and the other arts.

The Festival is open for short and feature animation films of every genre and topic, including school productions. Participation is open for animation shorts from all over the world - produced for film, television, video or the Internet - with special interest in those from Latin America.

The Festival is organized by the Centro Experimental de Animación (Dept. of Film and TV, Faculty of Arts, National University of Córdoba), the Animation Chair and Animation Lab (National University of Villa María), the University of Córdoba Film Society, and the Centro Cultural España ● Córdoba (AECID).

The London International Animation Festival is the UK's largest international animation festival which proudly showcases the whole spectrum of creative animation, showing that animation is for everyone.

Founded in 2003, LIAF aims to dispel the popular misconception that animation is just cartoons for kids by screening the broadest possible range of intelligent, entertaining and provocative current films on offer from all around the world as well as retrospectives and specialised sessions from countries and animators who don't normally elicit such attention.

Our annual 10-day Festival in August and September includes gala premieres, retrospectives, Q&A's with filmmakers, workshops, audience voting, and the Best of the Festival screening.
