According to ComingSoon.net, AJ Michalka (LOVELY BONES) has joined the cast of J.J. Abrams' Steven Spielberg homage SUPER 8. The cast already includes Kyle Chandler, Elle Fanning, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Joel Courtney, Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee, Zach Mills and Gabriel Basso. The story revolves around a trio of kids who capture images of an alien with their Super 8 camera. Film will arrive in theaters next summer.
