Kill Bill & Return of the King Slay MTV Movie Awards

Hosted by Lindsay Lohan of MEAN GIRLS, the 2004 MTV Movie Awards, held at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California, have announced the winners. The awards will air on MTV June 10, 2004 at 9:00 pm.

KILL BILL VOL. 1 slayed the competition with the most wins of the night, including Uma Thurman as "Best Female Performance" and Lucy Liu as "Best Villain." Johnny Depp took home nods for "Best Male Performance" for his swashbuckling role in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL. For the third consecutive year, LORD OF THE RINGS took home "Best Movie," for its latest installment THE RETURN OF THE KING. Lohan became the first Movie Awards host ever to win the coveted "golden popcorn" while hosting, as she picked up the "Breakthrough Female" award.
