Music video production vets Patrick Holtkamp and Phil Tidy are the forces behind the newly established production company, Draw Pictures, based in London with a post-production arm, Draw Edit, on site.
Within three months, Draw Pictures has been the creative influence behind 20 stunning promos, including PRODIGY, MCFLY and Oasis new video, LYLA.
Draw Pictures latest draw, meanwhile, is Tidys skillfully filmed promo for Gadjo that he directed for their new single titled: So Many Times. Tidy, recently nominated Best Producer at the Cads Awards, created the comical story line combining it with beautiful shots of sexy bikini-clad women in an idyllic sunny Miami back drop resulting in a seamless and entertaining video.
The company boasts a string of highly acclaimed directors too. Tim Q and Rupert Jones shot and directed MCFLY and EL PRESIDENTE, which has received good buzz, resulting in a screening of it at the Res Fest last month in Los Angeles.
Draw Edit boasts the latest technology, with online and offline Avid suites. All systems are digitally routed to a comprehensive broadcast specified machine room that has every format available from VHS to Digi Beta. The machine room also has dedicated duplication bays for every format.
Draw Pictures also had some of its directors working on an exciting high profile animation for a new television program titled: MODERN TOSS, which aired on Channel 4 recently. The animated TV show was written and created by Jon Link and Mick Bunnage and animated by 12foot6 from Draw Pictures.
