Submissions are now being accepted in feature and short film categories for the 20th edition, being held March 18-29, 2020 in Lisbon, Portugal.
Held in Lisbon, Portugal, MONSTRA Animation Festival encourages new artistic approaches to animation derived from research and experimentation. This culminates with the presentation and promotion of some of the world’s best animation. The next edition, celebrating 20 years, takes place March 18-29, 2020.
Submissions for MONSTRA 2020 are now being accepted. Films will be accepted in the following categories:
- Feature Films
- Short Films
- Student Short Films
- Super Short Films
- Short Films for Children & Youth
- Portuguese Competition
Submissionsdeadline for Short Films for Children and Youth is October 13, 11.59 PM (GMT).
Submission deadline in the other film and short film categories is November 3, 11.59 PM (GMT).
Submission deadline for the Portuguese Competition is January 12, 2020.
