New season releases April 5, continuing the Igiby family's epic journey, promising more secrets, adventures, and heart-stopping moments; Lesley Nicol and Matthew Rhys join the star-studded lineup of actors lending their voices to the series.

Angel Studios has announced an April 5 release date for The Wingfeather Saga Season 2, based on the popular book series by Andrew Peterson. One of the largest crowdfunded 3DCG animated series in history, the new season adds Lesley Nicol (Downton Abbey), and Matthew Rhys (The Americans) to its star-studded voice acting lineup that includes Jodi Benson (The Little Mermaid), Kevin McNally (Pirates of the Caribbean), Billy Boyd (The Lord of the Rings), and Henry Ian Cusick (Lost).

Distributed by Angel Studios, The Wingfeather Saga Season 2 continues the Igiby family's epic journey, promising more secrets, adventures, and heart-stopping moments.

The series chronicles the adventures and transformations of the Igiby family as they discover secrets of their family history, flee the evil Fangs of Dang, seek their place in the world, and make a stand against the mysterious ruler, Gnag the Nameless. They will need their special gifts and all the love of their noble mother and ex-pirate grandfather to survive the venomous Fangs, sea dragons, flabbits, and (gulp) toothy cows!

The additional voice cast includes young members Alkaio Thiele, Griffin Robert Faulkner, Romy Fay, Kellen Goff, and Ari Elizabeth Johnson.

Andrew Peterson is executive producer and author, alongside executive producer and showrunner Chris Wall. Brock Starnes serves as executive producer and COO, and Keith Lango is executive producer, animation director, and GG supervisor. Garrett Taylor is art director and Jason Melton executive produces.
