Burbank, CA – On the heels of their last epic adventure, Harold and Kumar once again find themselves wrapped up in hilarious mishaps in A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas, arriving onto Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital Download February 7 from Warner Home Entertainment Group.
John Cho and Kal Penn reprise their title roles in A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas which comes after the 2004 cult hit Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle launched the franchise, followed by Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay in 2008. The third installment is the first to highlight the guys’ outrageous escapades in 3D.
It would not be a Harold & Kumar film without Neil Patrick Harris (TV’s “How I Met Your Mother”), who returns along with Paula Garces (TV’s “Defying Gravity”) as Maria; Danneel Harris (The Roommate) as Vanessa; Bobby Lee (Pineapple Express) as Kenneth Park; and Tom Lennon (I Love You Man) as Harold's new best friend, Todd.
The Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack and Blu-ray Combo Pack each include the Extra Dope Edition – Extended Cut (Presented in 2D only), with new cuts of favorite scenes, now extended.
The Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD include an UltraViolet Digital Copy of the standard definition theatrical version of the film, which allows consumers to download and instantly stream the film to many computers, tablets and smartphones.
On February 7, A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas will be available on Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD. It will also be available for download or rental from online digital retailers including iTunes, Xbox, PlayStation, Amazon, Vudu and CinemaNow.
The film will also be available digitally in High Definition (HD) VOD, and Standard Definition (SD) VOD from cable and satellite providers. Select cable providers will also offer A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas in High Definition 3D VOD.
SYNOPSIS
Following years of growing apart, Harold Lee (Cho) and Kumar Patel (Penn) have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly arrives at Kumar’s door on Christmas Eve, his attempt to redirect it to Harold’s house ends with the “high grade” contents – and Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree – going up in smoke. With his in-laws out of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar through New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree takes them through party heaven – and almost blows Christmas Eve sky high.
