Well, to get your scanned art into flash you just hit control+R to import. Once it is in, make sure it is selected and then choose "modify", then choose "bitmap" and then "trace bitmap". YOu'll get a box where you can play around with how the artwork will be converted to vector.

I've been trying to find out how the layers and frames on flash work. I figured out that converting the frames on your character's layer to keyframes makes each frame individual (with the red outline in the next frames...etc...) but I'm still unsure about the way this is supposed to function. I'm assuming I just set the framerate to 24 fps and start drawing, scanning, and arranging, right?
