Some info about making a 2d feature in India - Read On

Vismad has made a indocentric 2d feature in their studios in Chandigarh, India. It is about 50 minutes in length and took 14 months from concept to completion with 22 artists. It has 6 songs and some hymns (it is a religious themed feature) and the cost was 35,00,000 Indian Rupees which is about $80,000-$100,000

The film is not ideally made for the indian market because the market is not profitable. they have made it for the vast sikh diaspora which exists in Canada and the United Kingdom. It seems like they should be able to recoup costs with distribution and DVD sales in these two markets.
