Animadrid 2003

The 4th edition of Animadrid was organized with the purpose of fostering the film and audiovisual arts by promoting independent animation productions and providing an assembly point for artists and audiences in the international community. This year's event will pay tribute to legendary stop-motion master Ray Harryhausen. Animadrid has two competitive sections: a short films selection and the Iberoamerican Competition for television TV series pilot. In the short film category, independent films less than 60 minutes in length and created using any animation technique are eligible for entry. For the Iberoamerican Competition, all animated TV series pilots less than 30 minutes are eligible for entry. This contest is only for Spanish, Portuguese or Iberoamerican productions. In case of international co-productions, over 50% of the production must be credited to the countries mentioned. August 31, 2003 is the deadline for feature films.
