The Creative Emmy Awards were presented at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on September 8, 2001, honoring performers in voiceover and animation. Emmys for individual achievement in animation were awarded to: FUTURAMA Rodney Clouden, storyboard artist for "Parasites Lost;" GARY & MIKE Curt Enderle, art director for the episode "Phish Phry," and Brad Schiff, animator for the episode "Furry Duffel;" and INVADER ZIM Kyle Menke, storyboard artist for "The Nightmare Begins." The winners in the voiceover performance category were: Hank Azaria, for various characters on THE SIMPSONS "Worst Episode Ever," and JaNet DuBois, for her role as Mrs. Avery on THE PJS episode "Lets Get Ready To Rumba."
