Paramount Scoops Up ‘Boss Baby’ Producer Ramsey Naito

Veteran executive and producer will oversee production on the studio’s current projects and seek out new ones to develop. 

Paramount Animation has hired veteran producer and executive Ramsey Naito as its executive VP.

The Boss Baby producer Ramsey Naito has been named executive VP of Paramount Animation.

A veteran of the animation industry, Naito will oversee production on the studio’s current slate, which includes the next SpongeBob SquarePants movie and Wonder Park, due in theaters March 15, 2019. She also will seek out new projects for development, reporting to Mireille Soria, president of Paramount Animation.

The studio also has hired Emily Nordwind as VP production and development; Katherine MacDonald as VP production and marketing; and Maya Kambe as a creative executive.

Naito’s executive and producer credits prior to her stint at DreamWorks — where she worked with Soria — include BarnyardThe SpongeBob SquarePants MovieThe Wild Thornberrys MovieHey Arnold! The MovieJimmy Neutron: Boy GeniusRugrats in Paris: The Movie and South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.
