The Ottawa International Animation Festival unveils a new poster by Irish animator David OReilly and announces a retrospective of his work.
Organizers of the Ottawa International Animation Festival are donning their motivational jumpsuits in preparation for OIAF 14, which will explode into your minds and souls September 17-21.
As part of the preparations, a new poster by Ireland’s David OReilly (The External World, Please Say Something) has been unveiled. Alongside a retrospective of his films, David will also serve as a jury member at OIAF 14 and will sit down for a live chat for Chris Robinson's The Animation Pimpcast.
OIAF 14 will also feature The Dark Side of Russian Animation, a tour of the mysterious, contemplative side of Russia's animation world. Curated by Masha Tereschenko, Program Director, Big Cartoon Festival, Russian animator Dmitry Geller will be in attendance.
Other special screenings include: When the Hell is it?: Time and Animation and Hot Freaks: The New Generation of Canadian Animation.
