Phillip Noyce told Moviehole that he would not return to direct the sequel to SALT. He said to the site that after doing three alternative edits of the film for the Blu-ray release, he has given everything he has to offer on Evelyn Salt, which was played by Angelina Jolie. It is expected that Sony will officially announce a follow-up soon.
