Chud.com broke the news that FRIDAY THE 13TH director Marcus Nispel has signed on to direct CONAN THE BARBARIAN, replacing Brett Ratner who had to step down due to scheduling conflicts. Millenium and Lionsgate still hope to get the production rolling soon, but a summer start looks tough with no star signed yet. Joe Gatta is producing the relaunch of the franchise.
